Educational use
Epidemiology Matters is provided as a free educational companion to the textbook of the same name. You are welcome to use the interactive tools, figures, and articles for learning and teaching, including in classrooms, with attribution to the authors and Oxford University Press.
The data is fictional
Farrlandia and every population you generate on this site are simulated for teaching. They are not real people and must not be treated as real-world evidence. Any resemblance to actual individuals is coincidental.
No warranty
The tools are offered as-is for instruction. While we work to keep the methods sound, we make no warranty that the site is error-free, and the authors are not liable for decisions made on the basis of these teaching simulations.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the second edition and its tools evolve. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
